Policy and Research Manager

Reporting to the Director, Government Relations, you'll play a vital role in developing policy analysis and research for HAVAN. Engage with local and provincial governments to advocate for the needs of the home-building industry, while liaising with key stakeholders. Your insights will inform our members about important legislative changes impacting their work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate public policy affecting residential construction

• Assist in developing policy positions and advocacy materials

• Attend municipal meetings and public consultations

• Build relationships with industry stakeholders and government officials

• Create content for the Government Relations Update newsletter

Requirements:

• 3rd or 4th year courses in relevant fields

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Knowledge of housing policy and municipal processes

• Reliable transportation for travel in Metro Vancouver

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related platforms
