Manager of Policy and Research

At HAVAN, you will work in a hybrid role, reporting to the Director, Government Relations. The ideal candidate will bring strong research skills, stakeholder engagement, and a passion for housing policy. You will develop and disseminate timely policy documents, advocate for member interests, and monitor municipal meetings and events across Metro Vancouver.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate public policy and recommend actions for impacts on construction

• Develop advocacy materials and policy positions for stakeholder engagement

• Prepare presentations and correspondence for Board and officials

• Attend municipal meetings and report on industry engagement

• Promote HAVAN's policies and liaise with industry counterparts

Requirements:

• 3rd or 4th year university courses in related fields

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Interest in housing policy and municipal processes

• Reliable transportation for travel across Metro Vancouver

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools
