As part of the Investigative Services Bureau, the Detective Constable works closely with front-line officers and other agencies, tackling complex criminal cases. You will conduct covert investigations, assess risks, and engage meaningfully with vulnerable persons. Your professional discretion and ability to maintain the highest standards are crucial for effective policing.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct online covert investigations targeting offenders
• Assess and prioritize cases involving child exploitation
• Collaborate with stakeholders for information gathering
• Engage with victims and witnesses respectfully
• Manage investigations aligned with Major Case Management principles
Requirements:
• Current serving police officer in good standing
• Experience in investigative units or related fields
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Up-to-date mandatory force-options training
• Ability to maintain security clearance
