As a vital part of FortisBC’s Public Policy and Government Relations team, you will leverage your experience in energy and climate change to further our climate objectives. This position demands excellent analytical skills as you work on advancing zero and low-carbon solutions for various sectors. Your commitment to creating actionable strategies will drive our compliance with the Clean Growth Pathway plan.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct climate action policy analysis for various sectors
• Develop strategies for zero and low-carbon solutions
• Ensure compliance with internal GHG reporting frameworks
• Collaborate with stakeholders on GHG policies
• Contribute to the pursuit of BC’s climate goals
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in relevant field and 4-7 years of experience
• Master’s degree is a plus
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Knowledge of GHG abatement strategies
• Experience in energy sector and regulatory frameworks
