As part of the Surrey Fire Service, you will engage in vital fire prevention strategies and assist during medical incidents. Ideal candidates should possess strong communication skills and should be physically and psychologically prepared for the challenges of firefighting. Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct fire suppression activities during emergencies
• Assist in medical incidents as needed
• Perform fire inspections and preventive education
• Collaborate with dispatch and support administration
• Engage in community initiatives to enhance safety
Requirements:
• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
• Grade 12 completion or equivalent mandatory
• Two years’ relevant work experience required
• Valid Class 1 or Class 3 Driver's License needed
• Current BC EMA First Responder License required
