This is an exciting role for a Principal who will shape the regulatory landscape affecting battery energy storage systems. You will be the go-to expert, advocating for science-based frameworks and providing strategic recommendations. Engage actively with key stakeholders, including policymakers and certification bodies, to make a tangible difference in energy independence.
Key Responsibilities:
• Serve as the subject matter expert on regulatory and certification issues
• Monitor emerging legislation and certification requirements
• Build relationships with government agencies and industry bodies
• Advocate for practical regulatory frameworks for energy storage
• Develop strategies to influence proposed policies
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
• 3+ years in regulatory affairs or public policy
• Strong communication skills for policy positions
• Proven experience with stakeholders in the energy sector
• Ability to analyze complex regulatory issues
