Become a Program Assistant at Bentley Place, where you will play a crucial role in supporting client well-being through various life skills and health maintenance tasks. This full-time position requires dedication and a caring approach.
In this role, reporting to the Program Manager, you will assist clients with personal and social needs, ensuring a well-maintained living environment. Your responsibilities include medication administration, activity organization, and maintaining accurate documentation of client progress.
Key Responsibilities:
• Aid clients in enhancing life skills like personal hygiene
• Administer medication as per established guidelines
• Organize social and recreational client activities
• Keep accurate records of client interactions and progress
• Perform cleaning and maintenance duties within the facility
Requirements:
• Completion of Grade 12 and a Community Social Service Certificate
• 1 year experience with social service populations
• Successful criminal record check with vulnerable sector screening
• First Aid and CPR certification required
• Completion of Nonviolent crisis intervention training
