Community Mental Health Clinician Specialist

This position involves working adeptly within the Mental Health & Substance Use Services team to coordinate client care and enhance their treatment journey through trauma-informed interventions. You’ll play an essential role in assessing needs, providing therapy, and referring clients to vital community resources. By developing recovery plans, you'll empower clients towards meaningful change while ensuring they have access to the supportive services necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
• Screen referrals and assess client urgency for care
• Provide case management and brief intervention services
• Deliver educational sessions and therapeutic support
• Liaise with community programs for enhanced access
• Maintain compliance with health and safety standards
Requirements:
• Master’s Degree in Counseling or Social Work
• At least 2 years of applicable experience
• Strong understanding of relevant mental health policies
• Eligible for relevant professional associations
• Valid Driver’s License for community outreach
