Join Connective as a Mental Health Residence Worker to provide crucial support and care to residents in need. Apply your skills in a unionized casual work environment.
This position focuses on delivering casework and implementing care strategies for residents with varied mental health needs. You’ll play an integral role in developing individualized care plans and promoting their overall well-being. Working alongside a dedicated team, your input will significantly contribute to the residents’ success in integrating into their communities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement intervention techniques during crises
• Assist with day-to-day operations of the facility
• Create and maintain resource areas for residents
• Prepare and assist residents during outings
• Foster emotional support and feedback for residents
Requirements:
• Minimum one year of related experience
• Knowledge of psycho-social rehabilitation concepts
• Clear Criminal Records Check and First Aid certification
• Valid BC driver's license with appropriate insurance
• Excellent communication skills in English
