Ophthalmic Technician​/Assistant & MOA

FVCL is a rapidly growing medical ophthalmology clinic specializing in eye disease and surgeries with advanced technology. We have a nationally‑recognized team of ophthalmologists with vast clinical experience in a wide variety of ocular services including MSP covered exams and surgeries, as well as private lens surgeries and LASIK.

Responsibilities

Greeting patients in person, on the phone and by email in a helpful and informative manner

Billing, invoicing and receiving payments

Booking and coordinating patient appointments

Providing physicians and patients with attentive care and service

Tracking patient lab test results and booking follow‑up appointments

Providing patients with detailed instructions on various lab tests

Working in Accuro EMR system

Collaborating with physicians and other colleagues

Collaborating in the establishment of the systems and processes in place at the clinic

Cooperating with physicians in meeting their needs requirements

Qualifications
Ophthalmic assistant with experience in the following is an asset but we are willing to train the right candidate:
Visual Fields, OCT, Auto‑refractions, Non‑contact Tonometer, Doctor workups, Cataract measurements.

If you do not have direct experience, you should have a strong work ethic and be able to learn on the go quickly.

Compensation
$17.50-$27.00 per hour
