Become a vital part of Monarch House as a part-time Occupational Therapy Aide, dedicated to aiding children with developmental challenges. This role centers around implementing intervention strategies in a supportive team environment in Surrey.
At Monarch House, your primary task will be to implement treatment plans designed by registered Occupational Therapists. You will foster a positive atmosphere for clients while ensuring their safety and well-being. Communication with families and data tracking will be crucial for retreating engagement and progress.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement treatments based on best practices
• Prepare educational materials for therapy sessions
• Communicate effectively with clients and families
• Maintain a safe and engaging environment
• Track client progress through effective data collection
Requirements:
• Relevant post-secondary coursework in Occupational Therapy
• Authorization to work in Canada required
• Preferably 1 year experience as an OTA
• Must hold current CPR and First Aid Certificate
• Knowledge of autism spectrum disorder beneficial
