Join Phoenix as a Part-Time Peer Support Worker at Bentley Place. This role is vital in providing support and mentorship during the recovery of residents.
In this permanent position, you will work weekends, helping clients with emotional support and practical skills to facilitate their recovery journeys. Leveraging your own lived experiences, you will guide residents in achieving their goals and connecting them with community resources. Collaborative efforts with other care professionals are key to enhancing the service delivery model.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate recovery group sessions and individual support
• Assist clients in goal attainment and empowerment
• Observe client behavior and report concerns
• Document progress and maintain records
• Build trusting relationships with clients and peers
Requirements:
• High School diploma or Community Services certificate
• 1 year of relevant recovery experience
• Must possess valid driver’s license and First Aid certification
• Completion of necessary health and screening documentation
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
