Recreation Assistant​/Driver in BC

This permanent full-time position offers 75 hours bi-weekly, with a structured schedule. Your tasks will include driving residents for outings, assisting with activities, and reporting on residents' engagement. This vital position impacts the community's warmth and connection.

Key Responsibilities:

• Transport residents for recreational outings and errands

• Collaborate with leadership on program development

• Set up activity areas and coordinate participant logistics

• Record residents' interests and progress routinely

• Encourage social interaction among the residents

Requirements:

• Post-secondary diploma in a related field or equivalent experience

• Clean Class 4 Driver's License required

• Background in senior care and motivation principles

• Basic computer skills

• Successful completion of background checks is mandatory
