In this essential role, you will support individuals by offering guidance and sharing recovery insights while working collaboratively with the program manager. The Peer Support Worker will aid clients in skill development, goal setting, and emotional support while ensuring safety and well-being within the residence. This position is key to fostering a supportive community environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Offer peer support tailored to individual needs
• Lead educational and recovery-focused activities
• Monitor and report on client wellness indicators
• Assist with documentation and resource distribution
• Empower clients through personal outreach efforts
Requirements:
• High School diploma or equivalent training
• Approximately 1 year of relevant support experience
• Completion of nonviolent crisis intervention training
• First aid certification including CPR necessary
• Reliable transportation for client support outings
Help shape positive recovery experiences for residents while utilizing your personal journey as a source of strength.
