In this permanent position, you'll work weekends from 4 PM to midnight. The Peer Support Worker is responsible for offering guidance, emotional support, and practical assistance. Through your personal recovery insights, you will foster a positive environment that promotes growth and resilience in service recipients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide peer-based support and mentorship
• Facilitate recovery groups within established goals
• Assist clients during outings and appointments
• Document client progress and safety observations
• Build supportive relationships with residents and staff
Requirements:
• High School diploma or equivalent
• 1 year lived experience in recovery
• First aid certification with CPR
• Satisfactory criminal records check required
• Valid driver’s license mandatory
