Become a vital part of Fraser Health as a Behavioural Consultant. Engage in direct counseling and community outreach to support clients with complex mental health needs.
This role requires a Mental Health Clinician dedicated to delivering high-quality behavioral intervention and support for individuals with developmental disabilities and psychiatric disorders. You will assess client needs, create tailored treatment plans, and provide group and individual therapy sessions. A collaborative approach with the healthcare team and community education is essential for creating effective support networks.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct functional assessments and develop intervention plans
• Deliver evidence-based individual and group counseling
• Collaborate on clients’ assessments and treatment strategies
• Perform case reviews and maintain documentation
• Promote community awareness and education around mental health
Requirements:
• Master’s Degree in related health field
• Minimum of two years’ experience in behavioral therapy
• Eligible for professional registration
• Valid Class V B.C. Driver's Licence
• Strong skills in leadership and communication
