As a Personal Support Worker at Yee Hong Centre for Geriatric Care, you will assist clients with daily activities and personal hygiene. You will actively support their physical, social, and emotional well-being while adhering to resident-centred care standards.
Your role will also include collaboration with the healthcare team to ensure quality care and maintain effective communication with residents and families.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide personal care for client comfort and safety
• Support residents by observing their physical and emotional condition
• Document care accurately on flow sheets and daily records
• Foster independence in daily living activities
• Assist with adaptive and prosthetic device usage
Requirements:
• Graduate of a Personal Support Worker course in Ontario
• Current CPR Certificate
• Experience in long-term care preferred
• Registration with HSCPOA preferred
• Ability to converse in Chinese an asset
