This role involves providing comprehensive assessments and treatment options for clients in the Child & Adolescent Outpatient Psychiatry Clinics. As a key member of a multi-disciplinary team, you will utilize trauma-informed practices and cultural safety principles to enhance service delivery. You will educate community partners and develop valuable resources to improve mental health outreach.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for children and families
• Develop treatment plans and manage cases effectively
• Provide therapeutic clinical counseling through various therapy models
• Educate mental health professionals through workshops
• Maintain accurate clinical records and statistical information
Requirements:
• Master’s Degree in Social Work or related field
• Minimum two years of clinical experience in child and adolescent mental health
• Eligible for registration with a professional body
• Valid BC Driver's License with insurance coverage
• Knowledge of cultural safety and trauma-informed care
