This part-time role focuses on developing leisure programs, managing community resources, and fostering social connections among residents. You will engage in event planning and promote active participation, ensuring every resident feels valued and at home.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and evaluate leisure programs tailored to resident needs

• Create a balanced monthly residents’ calendar of events

• Produce and distribute a monthly newsletter for residents

• Promote facility events to the community and coordinate media coverage

• Manage department aides, volunteers, and facilitate residents’ meetings

Requirements:

• Experience with seniors in retirement or long-term care

• Creative and motivated with event planning skills

• Clear Vulnerable Persons Screening and TB Skin Test

• Excellent English communication skills

• Familiarity with community resources
