General Notes- Please note that hours of work, days off, and work area may be subject to change based on operational requirements and in accordance with the collective agreement.
- Provide assistance with daily living activities to ensure residents' comfort and well-being.
- Coordinate and communicate with residents, families, and staff to address concerns and needs.
- Support and engage residents in social, recreational, and wellness activities.
- Monitor residents' health and well-being, reporting changes to appropriate staff.
- Maintain accurate documentation and uphold safety, privacy, and confidentiality standards.
- Grade 12 or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience WHMIS certification
- Experience working in Senior Resident Facility preferred.
- Prior experience in housekeeping or janitorial demonstrating expertise in cleaning, sanitation, and safety protocols.
- Empathy and understanding of seniors' needs.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Effective teamwork and conflict resolution skills.
- Proficient in English communication (written and verbal).
- Knowledge of Korean language and culture is an asset.
- Ability to work under pressure in a warm, noisy environment.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently.
- Competent in operating related equipment.
- Well-groomed with high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
- Physically able to perform job duties and free from communicable diseases.
