Clinical Pharmacist - Part-Time Role

Enhance patient care at Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre as a part-time Clinical Pharmacist. Focus on medication assessments and therapy optimization in a multidisciplinary team.

This integral role reports to the Manager of Clinical Pharmacy Services. You will conduct thorough patient medication assessments, minimizing adverse events while providing accurate information to healthcare teams. Collaborating in a clinical setting, you will support safe medication use and resource optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete patient medication assessments and therapy reviews

• Participate in patient rounds alongside healthcare professionals

• Ensure accuracy in drug distribution and physician orders

• Contribute to education for pharmacy students and nursing staff

• Conduct medication safety audits per Accreditation Canada standards

Requirements:

• Registered Pharmacist in good standing with Ontario College

• Bachelor of Science or PharmD degree in Pharmacy

• Minimum two years of hospital pharmacy experience preferred

• Knowledge of pharmacotherapeutics and patient care

• Strong organizational and communication skills
