Join Canadian Blood Services as a Temporary full-time Phlebotomist in North Surrey. Utilize your phlebotomy skills in a dynamic team environment to ensure safe blood collection.
This role as Donor Centre Associate is vital in supporting our Collections team. You will perform essential phlebotomy procedures, ensuring each donor has a positive experience. Engage effectively with donors, conduct screenings, and implement health safety practices while maintaining donor privacy.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform phlebotomy procedures in a safe manner
• Conduct registration and eligibility screening for donors
• Monitor donor safety and comfort during the process
• Prepare and label blood products accurately
• Assist in setting up mobile donor events and clinics
Requirements:
• High school diploma required; post-secondary education is a plus
• Minimum 3 years of customer service experience
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices
• Experience with Microsoft Word and Outlook
• Ability to communicate in multiple languages is an asset
