Cogir Senior Living is looking for an Active Living Assistant to assist in the planning and execution of programs tailored for retirees. This part-time weekend role focuses on providing enriching activities and maintaining effective communication with residents and staff. You'll be pivotal in enhancing the quality of life for elderly residents through creative activities and personalized care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning and organizing recreational programs

• Maintain records of resident participation and assessments

• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff

• Participate in team meetings to ensure resident engagement

• Facilitate outings and assess individual activity levels

Requirements:

• College diploma in Recreation, Gerontology, or equivalent

• Knowledge of leading fitness programs for seniors

• Prior experience working with elderly individuals

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

• Valid driver’s license for resident transport
