Active Living Aide

Position: Active Living Aide at Cogir Senior Living
Join Cogir Senior Living as an Active Living Aide, a part-time position focused on enhancing the lives of seniors. Assist in organizing and implementing engaging programs every weekend.

The Active Living Aide will report to the Active Living Manager and collaborate to create meaningful activities for residents. Ideal candidates will have a college diploma in Recreation, Leisure Studies, or equivalent, alongside experience leading Fitness for Seniors. This role emphasizes communication and understanding while maintaining vital records and planning outings to enrich residents' lives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning and implementing resident programs

• Maintain accurate department records and assessments

• Facilitate effective communication with residents and staff

• Participate in team meetings focused on resident interests

• Evaluate and prepare daily activities for seniors

Requirements:

• College diploma in relevant field required

• Experience leading Fitness for Seniors essential

• Prior experience working with seniors

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

• Valid driver’s license to transport residents
