Part-Time Active Living Aide Position

Make a meaningful impact with Cogir Senior Living as a part-time Active Living Aide, working weekends to enhance senior well-being through engaging programs. Utilize your creativity and compassion in this rewarding role.

In this position, you'll support the Active Living Manager in developing and executing programs that promote social interaction and enrichment for residents. Candidates should have a background in Recreation or Gerontology, coupled with experience leading fitness activities for seniors. Your excellent communication skills and ability to maintain relationships will be key in fostering a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and organize meaningful activities for residents

• Ensure proper maintenance of assessment records

• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff

• Attend education sessions on elderly care trends

• Facilitate outings and assess resident activity levels

Requirements:

• College diploma in Recreation or equivalent needed

• Proven experience in leading Fitness for Seniors

• Experience with seniors beneficial

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office

• Valid driver’s license required for transporting residents
