As a Permanent Part-Time Physiotherapy Assistant, you will assist in delivering tailored therapies for residents. Your expertise will drive group exercise classes and support individual treatments under the guidance of a physiotherapist. Consistent communication with the physiotherapist will be vital in tracking resident progress and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with individualized treatment strategies for residents
• Conduct dynamic exercise classes tailored for seniors
• Ensure treatment areas and equipment are well-maintained
• Communicate any resident concerns to the physiotherapist
• Document treatment sessions using the Seniors Wellness system
Requirements:
• PTA/OTA diploma or related Kinesiology degree
• Experience in a long-term care environment preferred
• Recent Vulnerable Sector screening required
• Tuberculin clearance (2-Step Mantoux Test)
• Fluency in Korean to support communication
