Make a significant impact in mental health services as a Community Mental Health Clinician with Fraser Health. Utilitize your expertise to provide therapy and client support for substance use and psychiatric needs.
Fraser Health is seeking a dedicated clinician with a Master's degree in Social Work or Clinical Counseling. You will have at least two years of experience in community support or acute psychiatric settings.
Your role will revolve around individual and group therapy, crisis intervention, and building therapeutic relationships with clients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver treatment and support in crisis situations
• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions
• Manage intake and assess client needs
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams
• Advocate for client access to community resources
Requirements:
• Master's Degree in relevant health discipline
• Minimum 2 years of related experience
• Eligible for professional registration
• Valid driver's license and personal vehicle
• Knowledge of crisis intervention techniques
