Casual Outreach Support Worker

Enhance community mental health as a Casual Outreach Support Worker with Fraser Health in Surrey, B.C. This role focuses on providing support and life skills training to clients in need.

In this rewarding position, you will join a multidisciplinary team to assist individuals with mental health, behavioral, and developmental challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess client behavior and identify needs

• Develop strategies to encourage independence

• Document care and client progress

• Consult with community agencies for coordinated support

• Monitor client medication management and crises

Requirements:

• Community Mental Health Worker Certificate or Social Services Worker Diploma

• 2 years of recent related experience

• Current CPR certificate

• Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License

• Knowledge of the Mental Health Act
