In this rewarding position, you will join a multidisciplinary team to assist individuals with mental health, behavioral, and developmental challenges.
Your role involves outreach support, motivational coaching, and advocacy for clients and their families. You will report on clients' progress while ensuring coordination with community services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess client behavior and identify needs
• Develop strategies to encourage independence
• Document care and client progress
• Consult with community agencies for coordinated support
• Monitor client medication management and crises
Requirements:
• Community Mental Health Worker Certificate or Social Services Worker Diploma
• 2 years of recent related experience
• Current CPR certificate
• Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License
• Knowledge of the Mental Health Act
