Step into a rewarding role as a Child and Youth Mental Health Clinician in Cloverdale and Delta, BC. Provide vital mental health services for children and their families in supportive environments.
As a full-time employee of the BC Public Service, you will join the South Fraser Child and Youth Mental Health team. You’ll be responsible for conducting assessments, providing therapy, and collaborating with community partners to support youth aged 0-18 facing emotional and behavioral challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and therapies
• Lead individual and group therapy sessions
• Implement safety planning and suicide risk assessments
• Collaborate with schools and health agencies
• Support families in their mental health journeys
Requirements:
• Holds a Master’s degree in a related area
• Minimum one year of relevant experience required
• Valid B.C. Class 5 driver's license necessary
• Candidates with two years experience preferred
• Indigenous individuals encouraged to apply
