Become a Weekend Active Living Aide at Cogir Senior Living and create vibrant experiences for seniors. Engage residents through meaningful activities every Saturday and Sunday.
As an Active Living Aide, you will collaborate closely with the Active Living Manager to plan and implement recreational programs designed for elderly residents.
Your role will include maintaining assessments of resident activities and ensuring effective communication with staff and families. This position is a wonderful opportunity for individuals passionate about enhancing the lives of seniors.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in planning and executing engaging resident programs
• Keep detailed records of assessments and resident participation
• Maintain communication about events with residents, families, and volunteers
• Engage in continuous education on elderly care
• Support residents during outings and meal assistance
Requirements:
• Diploma in Recreation, Leisure Studies, or equivalent
• Experience in leading fitness sessions for seniors
• Previous experience with elderly populations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Class 4 or Class F driver's license required
