This casual role involves performing a range of sonographic examinations with an emphasis on abdominal and obstetrical techniques. Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare patients and conduct ultrasound examinations
• Perform detailed abdominal and obstetrical imaging procedures
• Collaborate with radiologists during procedural assistance
• Check images for compliance and technical quality
• Keep diagnostic records updated and accurate
Requirements:
• Completion of an accredited Medical Diagnostic Sonography program
• Certification with Sonography Canada or ARDMS required
• Proficiency in aseptic techniques and safe procedures
• Ability to communicate effectively in a clinical setting
• Multitasking skills for handling various responsibilities
