As a full-time Counsellor, your focus will be on assisting individuals with disabilities in achieving their life goals. Responsibilities include personal care, community involvement, and keeping track of progress. A driven individual passionate about active support is vital for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide support for a variety of life goals

• Assist with home care, including cooking and personal hygiene

• Organize community outings and volunteer opportunities

• Keep detailed records of individual activities and successes

• Promote fulfilling and purposeful daily engagement

Requirements:

• Valid First Aid and CPR certification

• Clear criminal record check (cost covered by CLS)

• Must be able to operate a wheelchair

• Ability to swim independently

• Experience with behavioral support is an asset
