Fraser Health Authority seeks a Part Time Cardiology Technologist to join the Cardiology department at Surrey Memorial Hospital in Surrey, B.C.
Your role will involve performing various cardiology tests, analyzing results, and assisting in complex procedures under the supervision of a physician. This position emphasizes teamwork and effective patient communication while ensuring high standards of care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct ECG, stress, and holder testing
• Explain testing procedures to patients clearly
• Analyze and summarize ECG test results
• Assist with monitoring Pacemakers under guidance
• Maintain patient records according to protocols
Requirements:
• Diploma in Cardiology Technology or equivalent
• At least two years of relevant experience
• Certification from the Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologists
• Proficient in verbal and written communication
• Physical capability to perform required duties
