Detailed OverviewCleans, decontaminates, checks, tests, assembles, sterilizes and distributes supplies, instruments and equipment related to the Operating Room and other areas of the Hospital; performs related clerical duties.
ResponsibilitiesEducation and Experience
Grade 12, plus successful completion of a recognized Sterile Supply Processing program, plus one year's recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Skills and Abilities- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to deal effectively with others.
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
- Ability to operate related equipment.
- Knowledge of surgical and medical terminology.
- Mathematical aptitude.
- Ability to organize work.
