Fraser Health is looking for a Casual Assistant who will work closely with Occupational and Recreation Therapists. Your responsibilities will include guiding patients in daily living activities, executing recreational programs, and ensuring proper equipment usage. This is an active, hands-on role requiring effective communication and organization skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide patient assistance in daily activities of living

• Implement routine recreational participation activities

• Prepare and apply therapeutic treatment modalities

• Supervise and assist in prescribed exercise programs

• Maintain departmental cleanliness and equipment inventory

Requirements:

• Completion of a Rehabilitation Assistant Program

• Proficient communication skills, both written and verbal

• Organized with time management capabilities

• Physical ability to perform rehabilitation tasks

• Knowledge of equipment related to rehabilitation
