Fraser Health is hiring a Casual Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to support their efforts at Surrey Memorial Hospital. This entry-level position requires graduates with specialized training in Diagnostic Cardiac and General Sonography. You'll be responsible for conducting ultrasound exams, enhancing patient experiences, and keeping patient records up to date.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct ultrasound exams, including echocardiograms and vascular studies

• Provide a comfortable environment for patients during testing

• Verify and maintain imaging equipment functionality

• Assist in procedural rooms as necessary

• Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives

Requirements:

• Certified in Diagnostic Sonography by recognized bodies

• Completion of IV Therapy training preferred

• Strong knowledge of sonographic procedures

• Proven ability to work both independently and with a team

• Effective verbal and written communication skills
