Make a meaningful impact at Jim Pattison Outpatient Care & Surgery Centre in Surrey, BC as a Full-Time Relief Clinical Pharmacy Specialist. This role focuses on advanced medication management and clinical guidance within a collaborative healthcare environment.
We seek an experienced Clinical Pharmacy Specialist ready to provide expert consultation and lead evidence-based practices for complex patient cases. You will have opportunities for teaching, research, and participating in quality improvement, which enriches both your career and patient outcomes.
Your role will be vital in developing clinical pharmacy practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess, plan, and evaluate pharmaceutical care delivery
• Mentor pharmacists and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Conduct educational sessions and in-service training
• Participate in drug therapy guideline developments
• Engage in pharmacological research and quality improvement
Requirements:
• Registration with the College of Pharmacists of BC
• Accredited Hospital Pharmacy Residency certification
• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) required
• At least a year of relevant hospital pharmacy experience
• Strong ability to communicate and coordinate teams
