Enhance lives in Surrey, BC as a Mental Health Life Skills Associate with FRAFCA, focusing on rehabilitation support for adults facing serious mental health challenges. This on-call, casual role is deeply rewarding.
Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will provide essential life skills training to individuals dealing with mental illness and substance use disorders. You'll implement treatment plans and collaborate with clients to foster skills for daily living. If you’re passionate about community support and cultural safety, this position is for you.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support clients in developing essential life skills
• Conduct risk assessments and crisis interventions
• Ensure access to community resources and services
• Document client progress and maintain records
• Facilitate team meetings and client feedback sessions
Requirements:
• Mental Health or Human Services certification
• Experience working with Indigenous populations
• Knowledge of best practices in mental health
• Certification in Basic First Aid and Food Safe
• Valid Driver’s License for client transport
