Become a Peer Support Worker at Main Campus, supporting residents' recovery and wellness. Engage in mentorship while providing emotional support and guidance to those in need.
Phoenix is seeking a full-time Peer Support Worker to join their team. This role involves using your lived experience to assist individuals facing substance use or mental health challenges. You will work with an interdisciplinary team, offering peer support, attending to clients’ emotional needs, and promoting recovery through mentorship and resource sharing.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide peer-based support and guidance to service recipients
• Facilitate peer recovery groups in a collaborative setting
• Share personal recovery experiences to motivate clients
• Identify and connect clients with community resources
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent in community services
• Around 1 year of relevant experience in peer support
• First aid certification with CPR
• Valid driver’s license and criminal records check
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
