Deliver patient-centered imaging in Barrie as a regular part-time Medical Radiation Technologist supporting General Radiography and CT.
At Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre, Medical Imaging team members use advanced technology across a broad radiography program. This MRT(R) role requires safe examinations, compassionate care, and clinical competency in General Radiography, CT, and minor special procedures. The position also supports continued learning, quality improvement, and student evaluation.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform examinations prescribed by physicians
- Demonstrate clinical competency across imaging procedures
- Provide compassionate care to patients and support persons
- Work with technologists, nurses, radiologists, and teams
- Participate in quality improvement opportunities
- Accredited Radiography education program graduate
- CMRITO registration in good standing
- Basic Cardiac Life Support program completion
- Commitment to continuing professional development
- Knowledge of RHPA and practice standards
