About the Role

The Project Manager leads medical education technology projects that support the School of Medicine’s digital learning and operational environment. Managing a portfolio of technology initiatives, the role oversees project planning, implementation, and delivery to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope and budget, and aligned with the School’s strategic priorities. Working closely with leadership, faculty, IT Services, clinical partners, and external vendors, the position supports cross‑functional collaboration, change management, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Upcoming projects include digital transformation initiatives, learning technology and system upgrades, classroom and simulation technology enhancements, and improvements to system integration and reporting capabilities across the School of Medicine.

The ideal candidate is a highly organized and collaborative project management professional with experience leading complex technology or digital transformation projects in academic, healthcare, or public‑sector environments. They possess strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, along with expertise in project planning, risk management, budgeting, and change management. Success in this role requires strong problem‑solving abilities, adaptability, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering projects on time, within scope and budget.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Digital Technology, Business Administration or related discipline and Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and eight years of related experience, including experience in planning and completing information technology projects or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

  • Proven experience leading end‑to‑end technology or digital transformation projects, including planning, implementation, risk management, and project delivery.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, PMP frameworks).
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, facilitation, and relationship management skills, with the ability to collaborate across cross‑functional teams and external partners.
