EDI Specialist / Analyst
Position OverviewOur client, a high-growth powerhouse in the logistics and transportation sector, is seeking a strategic technical lead to own their EDI ecosystem. In this role, you won't just be "handling tickets" you will be the subject matter expert responsible for bridging the gap between cutting-edge API protocols and robust legacy environments.

- Drive Centralization: Act as the definitive owner of all EDI functions, streamlining processes to boost organizational speed and efficiency.
- Master Data Flow: Execute high-stakes transportation transactions (including 204, 210, 214, 990, and 997) across both EDI and API protocols.
- Lead Partner Onboarding: Spearhead the integration of new trading partners, managing everything from initial mapping and testing through to final validation.
- Ensure System Integrity: Proactively hunt down and resolve data discrepancies to maintain 100% accuracy in mission-critical file sets.
- Strategic
Collaboration:
Partner directly with Development and Business Analysis teams to translate complex technical integrations into operational wins. - Define the "Source of Truth": Architect and maintain comprehensive documentation for all EDI workflows, processes, and partner requirements.
- Sector Expertise: 2–5+ years of experience in Transportation, Logistics, or Retail, with a deep understanding of LTL or Truckload operations.
- EDI Mastery: Advanced knowledge of ANSI X12 formats; previous experience with Trusted Link is considered a major asset.
- Technical Versatility: Comfortable navigating AS/400 (Green Screen) environments while working fluently with modern XML, JSON, and CSV formats.
- Analytical Rigor: A sharp troubleshooter who can effectively translate technical requirements into business-ready solutions.
- Communication: Professional interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across both technical and non-technical departments.
- Presence: This is an on-premise opportunity designed for someone who thrives in a collaborative, in-office environment.
Bonus Points: Familiarity with AS2, FTP/SFTP protocols, basic SQL skills for data querying, or an interest in using scripting and automation to eliminate manual workflows.
