CUPE Local Systems Analyst

Position: CUPE Local 402 Systems Analyst Role
Join CUPE Local 402 as a Systems Analyst 1, focused on ensuring the optimal functionality of enterprise IT systems. Collaborate with team members and user departments in a full-time position.

Reporting to the IT Operations Manager, you will manage systems including telecommunications, server setups, and active directory functionalities. Key functions include performing user administration in M365, troubleshooting systems issues, and executing Power Shell scripting. Your contributions will be critical for assessing systems functionality and implementing solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage Active Directory and Azure user access

• Oversee VMWare administration processes

• Conduct updates and patches for Windows Server

• Document IT systems according to established standards

• Troubleshoot incidents and respond to tickets

Requirements:

• Relevant degree plus one year of related experience

• Ability to conduct root cause analyses of IT issues

• Strong interpersonal skills for effective teamwork

• Capacity to prioritize urgent tasks under tight deadlines

• Experience with Cisco infrastructure is an advantage
