Senior IT Infrastructure Administrator

Join us as a Senior IT Administrator and manage IT infrastructure in Surrey, BC, at a well-established electrical distribution company. Your advanced skills are key to our operations.

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining robust IT systems, implementing security measures, and responding to urgent incidents. With a strong background in Fortinet, VMware, and Microsoft 365, you will ensure seamless operations for our multi-site environment. The role requires initial on-site work, transitioning to a hybrid model upon manager approval.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain critical network infrastructure and firewalls

• Oversee cybersecurity initiatives and risk management

• Manage Veeam and other backup systems

• Provide emergency IT support after hours

• Mentor junior IT staff and support remote branches

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent

• 5+ years of experience in IT administration

• Hands-on experience with VPN and Fortinet equipment

• Must be available for after-hours incidents

• Excellent leadership and problem-solving aptitude
