Kwantlen Polytechnic University (KPU) is seeking a strategic leader for its Information Security team. This senior position, reporting to the Chief Information Officer, will develop KPU's cybersecurity strategies to protect vital data and digital services. You’ll drive security initiatives while ensuring compliance and fostering collaboration with various departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee enterprise cybersecurity program development and implementation

• Manage a team focused on incident response and security technology

• Collaborate with IT leaders to align security strategies with institutional priorities

• Develop policies and controls ensuring data protection

• Lead security projects to enhance KPU’s overall security posture

Requirements:

• Bachelor's in information systems or related field

• 7+ years of IT experience, 5 in security roles

• 2+ years in a supervisory position

• CISSP certification preferred

• Proven risk management and leadership skills
