Westland Insurance Group Ltd is growing and has an exciting opportunity for a Manager, Data & Analytics Business Partner to join our growing team. This hybrid role is based out of our Head Office in Surrey, BC
.
Expected Compensation: The expected hiring range for this role is $106,000- $138,000 with a 35-hour work week. Your rate of pay will be determined based on your individual qualifications and experience, while considering internal equity.

- You have a strong foundation in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related field, supported by a relevant degree (e.g., Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, Economics, Mathematics)
- You have at least 7 years of experience in data analytics or a related discipline, with demonstrated business impact
- You are experienced in working directly with senior stakeholders and building trusted partnerships
- You are comfortable working with tools and programming languages such as SQL, Python, or R
- You have experience with modern data platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, or Microsoft Fabric
- You are a strong communicator who can translate complex analytics into meaningful insights for non-technical audiences
- Act as the primary data and analytics partner for a business unit, building strong relationships with leadership and embedding data into decision-making
- Design and deliver high-impact analytics and insights that drive measurable business outcomes such as growth, retention, and efficiency
- Lead strategic data initiatives and develop prototypes that demonstrate business value and can scale into enterprise solutions
