Westland Insurance Group is growing and has an exciting opportunity for a Product Manager, Commercial Programs to join our Underwriting team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of commercial insurance who enjoys bringing together business needs, insurance expertise, market insights, and stakeholder perspectives to help shape differentiated insurance programs and products.

Are you someone who understands how commercial insurance works and can translate business needs into thoughtful, well-defined product solutions? Do you enjoy collaborating with different areas of the business, digging into coverages and policy wordings, and helping turn ideas and requirements into products that support growth and profitability? If so, you’ll love working with Westland’s Underwriting team.

This is a hybrid position based out of our Surrey, BC head office; however, we are open to considering candidates based outside of our current office locations.

Expected Compensation: The expected hiring range for this role is $80,000 to $100,000 based on a35-hour workweek. Actual offered salary will depend on the successful candidate’s qualifications and experience, as well as market conditions for the role, and internal equity.

As a Product Manager, Commercial Programs
, you’ll help shape commercial insurance products by bringing together business needs, insurance expertise, and market insights to create practical, sustainable solutions. You’ll have a strong understanding of commercial coverages, policy wordings, underwriting, and pricing, and enough technical aptitude to collaborate with systems teams, ask the right questions, and contribute to solutioning.
