In this on-site Buyer role at Savaria, you will play a vital role in managing purchasing operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in procurement within a manufacturing environment and will utilize Syteline MRP to forecast purchasing needs. Your contributions will ensure optimal supply levels and cost efficiency in production.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor and analyze purchasing requirements using MRP
• Prepare and process purchase orders efficiently
• Collaborate with suppliers for quality assurance
• Lead procurement initiatives for cost reduction
• Work with production teams on special purchasing needs
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in Procurement or Supply Chain
• Minimum of 3 years of procurement experience
• Proficient in ERP systems and inventory management
• Strong analytical and reporting skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
