Surrey Materials Planning Specialist Position

Harness your expertise as a Materials Planning Specialist at IEM in Surrey, BC. This position is dedicated to establishing lean replenishment strategies that optimize material flow in a vibrant manufacturing setting.

This role works under the Material Replenishment Supervisor, playing a pivotal part in the design and implementation of efficient material management systems. You'll be at the forefront of driving cross-functional collaborations, ensuring smooth operations and alignment with production needs through best practices in inventory and materials planning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop lean material replenishment strategies and systems

• Facilitate collaboration across Production, Supply Chain, and Fabrication teams

• Support accurate kitting and inventory management practices

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives for materials flow

• Train and document lean practices across shifts

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Engineering, Supply Chain)

• 1 to 4 years of materials management or production support experience

• Understanding of lean principles and effective ERP usage

• Excellent collaboration and communication abilities

• Motivation to initiate process improvements and leadership growth
