Join Solaris Management Consultants as a Buyer in Surrey, British Columbia. Manage procurement processes, from supplier pre-qualification to bid evaluations for energy projects.
We seek a highly organized Buyer to join our procurement department. This full-time role involves managing purchase orders and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services. You will liaise with engineering teams and clients to foster collaboration and resolve contractual matters efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor and expedite purchase orders from engineering to delivery
• Coordinate engineering documentation and supplier performance
• Engage in post-award meetings for contractual clarity
• Negotiate contracts and manage supplier relations
• Prepare comprehensive RFQs and RFPs for bidders
Requirements:
• 5-10 years relevant experience in procurement management
• Technical college degree or related studies
• Supply Chain Management designation preferred
• Proficiency in purchasing systems required
• Excellent organizational and follow-up skills
